INTRODUCTION


We have chosen this subject because we want to know more about the hunger in Africa, but we are only going to talk about the malnutrition in Ethiopia.

We also are interested in this theme because obviously it is one of the biggest problems in our world. So, we are going to search more information in order to try to solve the problem.

Despite recent progress, malnutrition remains a severe problem in Ethiopia, especially among young children. Many of them suffer lifelong consequences in terms of higher risk of mortality and future illness, impaired cognitive ability and educational attainment, and overall productivity loss.

Ethiopia, is a country located in the Horn Africa, and is the most populous landlocked country in the world. Ethiopia is the second-most populous nation (after Nigeria) on the African continent, with over 84,320,000 inhabitants. Its capital, Addis Ababa, is known as "the political capital of Africa."

NOWADAYS

The malnutrition in Ethiopia is still a big problem and the Ethiopian people have the same problems that they used to have in the past. Even if this hasn't changed a lot of illnesses that were impossible to cure nowadays are treated. On account of that, less Ethiopians die but there's still a high mortality rate.

THE PROBLEM

The problem that we are talking about is caused mainly by the poverty and sociopolitical causes of the country. The population of the Ethiopian community it is at risk because it lacks health-related services, but on a smaller scale certain households or individuals are at even higher risk due to differences in income levels, access to land, and levels of education.

CONCLUSION

The population of Ethiopia lives in a lot of poverty and a lot of the population is an infant and teenager, and due to the malnutrition the death rate in children of 5 years and below are very high; The malnutrition in an infant age can make a permanent damage to the brain and develop in a slow way.The role of scientists and experts in this type of issue is to diffuse their knowledge and for poor people to provide them assistance.
